The folks at American Idol and iTunes really do deserve credit for going beyond the pale to make the world a better place. They didn't have to do it. But the folks behind the initiative have jumped in with both feet. They delivered major industry talent, large corporate sponsors, generous individual contributors, and 2 and half hours of the highly-rated show's audience. "Idol Gives Back" raises awareness, funds and brings tangible change to people hit hardest by poverty and disease.
